Kuala Lumpur – The prestigious Golden Bull Award 2025 once again brought the spotlight to companies across Asia that are redefining success through innovation, resilience, and a strong embrace of sustainable values. More than a symbol of achievement, the award continues to drive regional momentum in responsible business leadership and long-term growth.
Now in its 22nd year, the award—organized by Business Media International in collaboration with SAMENTA—received over 1,700 entries, reflecting a 19% year-on-year growth. This surge illustrates the ambitions of regional SMEs to scale beyond borders, powered by ESG-driven strategies, cybersecurity upgrades, and AI adoption in core operations.
According to SME Corp Malaysia, 55.6% of local SMEs are prioritizing innovation, 40% have formed strategic alliances, and a growing number are expanding internationally. With SMEs contributing 39.1% to Malaysia’s GDP in 2023, and a national target of 45% by 2025, the ecosystem is reaching a transformative tipping point.
Award Structure and Notable Winners
The awards are divided into three key tiers:
• Emerging Bull Award – for fast-growing enterprises.
• Outstanding Bull Award – for well-established companies with solid performance.
• Super Golden Bull Award – for elite corporations with exceptional achievements.
In addition, the Distinguished Bull Award was granted to 10 previous winners who have continued to expand and excel beyond expectations, proving sustained excellence is more than a milestone—it’s a mindset.
Digital and Leadership Recognitions

A Platform for Global Growth
SAMENTA’s National President, Datuk William Ng, emphasized that this year’s winners showcase the evolution of Asian entrepreneurship. “These companies are bold, resilient, and future-ready. With stronger government support, they’re poised to lead the region’s next economic chapter,” he noted.
