Global Achievement: Indonesian Students Win Big at AWMUN X

Eight Indonesian students recently gained international recognition at the Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) X in Kuala Lumpur, an event that gathered hundreds of youth leaders from more than two dozen countries.

Their outstanding performance in various UN-style councils showcased not only their knowledge of global affairs but also their communication and negotiation skills.

IGN President Muhammad Fahrizal applauded their efforts, stating that the recognition is well-deserved and reflects Indonesia’s potential to contribute to global discourse through its young generation.

Each award was earned in a highly competitive setting. The councils—UNEP, WHO, ILO, and UNICEF—challenged participants to provide solutions on environmental, health, labor, and child welfare issues.

These achievements are further validated by AWMUN’s official registration with Indonesia’s Ministry of Education, making them significant additions to academic portfolios.

From elementary school to high school level, the awardees represented a wide range of ages and backgrounds, yet all delivered exceptional performances.

This milestone confirms that Indonesian students are not just future leaders—they are already making an impact today on the world stage.
