Kuala Lumpur – A celebration of vision, resilience, and excellence unfolded at The Edge Malaysia Best Managed and Sustainable Property Awards 2025 (BMSPA 2025). Marking its ninth edition, the prestigious awards spotlighted projects and teams whose commitment to sustainability and innovation continue to shape Malaysia’s property landscape.
This year’s awards drew a record 81 submissions, surpassing last year’s 75. From these, 45 outstanding entries were shortlisted, and 36 projects were ultimately recognized for their achievements in redefining industry standards of property management. The rising numbers reflect the industry’s growing dedication to innovation, stewardship, and sustainable community living.
Among the celebrated winners was Sri Penaga Condominium, which distinguished itself as a two-time gold recipient in the “10 Years and Above — Multiple-owned Strata Residential” category. Its enduring impact was further recognized with the Editor’s Choice award for Excellence in Evergreen Community Living, affirming its position as a benchmark for long-term residential vibrancy.
The Editor’s Choice awards also honored exemplary properties across diverse categories. The MET Corporate Towers, managed by Henry Butcher Malaysia (Mont Kiara) Sdn Bhd (HBMK), was acknowledged for Excellence in Stewardship Synergy. GTower, under IGB Property Management Sdn Bhd, earned recognition for Excellence in Agile Reinvention. Quattro West, managed by Axis REIT Managers Bhd, was highlighted for Sustained Asset Competitiveness, while The Stories of Taman Tunku stood out for Excellence in Heritage Reimagined.
Notably, sustainability remained a cornerstone of this year’s celebration. Bandar Bukit Raja Wetland Townpark received the Editor’s Choice award for Excellence in Blue-Green Infrastructure, while The LINC KL was recognized for Preservation of Living Landscape. Both projects were also honored as gold winners in The Edge Malaysia–ILAM Sustainable Landscape Awards 2025 for Landscape Planning and Landscape Design, respectively.
These awards are more than accolades; they are stories of dedication, resilience, and foresight. Each project reflects the collective effort of teams and leaders striving to elevate Malaysia’s property industry toward sustainability and excellence. Their recognition not only celebrates achievement but also inspires the broader community to reimagine spaces where people live, work, and thrive.
As the curtains fall on BMSPA 2025, one message resonates clearly: excellence is not only about managing properties but also about nurturing communities and landscapes that will stand the test of time.
